I Am Leah Ministries, Inc. exists to help create a world where women will be transformed and empowered to move confidently into their God-assigned vocations and be agents of community transformation.

Mission

I Am Leah Ministry exists to help women be: grounded in their identity, devoted to their destiny, confident in their beauty, secure in their femininity, and fruitful in their ministry, through biblical instruction, Christian life coaching, and fellowship.

We achieve these goals by taking a holistic approach to healing and wholeness:

Spiritual formation- through our conferences, prayer sessions, and biblical training.
Emotional health- through masterclasses, Christian life coaching, counseling partnerships, and sponsorships.
Vocational actualization- through professional development workshops, academic scholarships, etc.

History

I Am Leah Ministries was founded in July 2020 by Min. Jodyann Reid. The ministry started as a part of a series of revelations from God.

God revealed that women needed a place to be vulnerable, to unleash their pain, and to be encouraged; they needed a healing room. This revelation planted the seed that would become The Healing Room Conference.

The first conference was held on November 23, 2019, at Kingdom Builders Worship Center. The second conference was held virtually on November 21, 2020. Jodyann thought that answering the call to have the conference would be the end of her assignment, but it was only the beginning. The conference was simply a part of a wider mission.

In 2018 the Lord inspired Jodaynn to preach a message entailed “Leah’s Cry”. In this message God used the biblical character, Leah, to demonstrate that beauty is not defined by society, secondly, even if an individual feels rejected by men, he or she is chosen by God, and finally, God uses the seemingly rejected to fulfill his purposes.

Little did Jodyann know that the message was actually a ministry. In July 2020, the Lord revealed to Jodyann that he is giving her a ministry to encourage, educate, inspire, and motivate women to cast off the conventions of society and embrace their position in Christ. The Lord chose the name I Am Leah Ministries. The Lord wants women from all walks of life to see themselves in the Biblical character of Leah. He wants us to re-imagine Leah and see her as a beautiful daughter of destiny. Who, through pain and rejections gives birth to worship and the messianic lineage. The purpose of the ministry is to encourage women to walk in their beautiful purpose, to find their identity in Christ, follow hard after their destiny, and to help to build up the kingdom of God.
